Artist – Aditya Wijanarko
Curator – Riksa Afiaty
INTRODUCTION
Practice in commercial and non commercial is always be an endless debate. Although its cliché, we often hear that any individual who is actually working in the creative industries – lets say – experienced this. Is it really to dispel the boredom of doing things that are orders and commercial, so we can and hope to escape into the realm of art, which people says its full of freedom, full of flavor and process-oriented, will we feel to be fully human? Or, is this a kind of oasis that temporary only? Should they just become an artist? This exhibition is a manifestation of the lot of question that came across in Aditya Wijanarko’s head, a graphic designer who lives and works in Jakarta, on what and how does it feel to be an artist within a certain time?
