Introduction

Fans and connoisseurs of releases in physical form shaped CD, cassette tape or vinyl records are still relatively quite a lot in Indonesia. In online buying and selling forum is still quite crowded peddle copies or simply to barter a number of releases. In addition to online, stretching selling physical release is still going on in the music stores in Indonesia in recent years despite several major music stores (chain store) folded. It does not mean the release of the music is dead because there is no grass root music store with a small to medium scale that still serve its customers.
In Jogjakarta itself is still widely available online and offline music stores that serve the audience of physical release. Some are open on the Internet through social media, as well as in their own homes, rented buildings and shops in the traditional market. It takes a great willingness to explore the existence of this music store. Departing from this eventually emerged a collective container and a music store owner records label from the city of Yogyakarta who call themselves Jogja Records Store Club. One of their missions in addition to making some of the activities associated with the release of physical (melapak together, workshops, discussions, celebrations Records Store Day & Cassette Store Day etc.) also make the map a music store in Yogyakarta so that the audience of the release of the physical can know where the location of the places.
It’s Agung “Leak” Kurniawan, an artist and one of the owners of
Kedai Kebun Forum who had the idea to create a pop-up market physical release that later took Jogja Records Store Club to make it happen. Tiban market is called Podomoro, according to the name of a legendary music store in Yogyakarta at the end of the era 1960-90an. In further developments finally sparked some other ideas for developing the concept of pop up this Podomoro market.
In this event during the duration of the exhibition will present the bazaar release of music by music stores and records the label of Jogjakarta, namely: Samstrong Records, [at] Demajors_Jogja, DoggyHouse Records, WLRV, Otakotor Records, Mindblasting, Rodents Shop, Disgusting Tape, Roots Music, Jesuiscidal Records ,
Physical Release, Deep, Altar Alpokalips and Yes No Shop. There are also stand-making song by Leliani Hermiasih, Irfan Rizkidarajat, Danto “Comb Land”, Fafa Agoni & Ananda Badudu where everyone can order songs to suit the desired theme and then recorded using their phone.
In addition to pop up the music store, there are also three exhibition release music that is: Library Hip Hop Nusantara (by Triaman “Sambrenk”), exhibition of Indonesian Celtic Punk Movement Exhibition (by Jr Miko “WLRV”) as well as exhibits cassette bootleg personal (by Indra Menus) , Meanwhile zine that spoke of this activity will also be released at the opening ceremony.
Will be held also discussions and workshops related to music including a discussion of the band on tour with the collective handle YK Booking. Do not miss the workshop on records label together some records label owner, music releases and workshop cleaning workshop release photos using hp.
