“Getok Tular #3: Pengabdianku”
An Idea Based Exhibition by Omnispace
Foreword
Being held since 2015, Getok Tular is one of Omnispace’s regular exhibition which based on concept (idea). The program explores the existence of “idea” as an essential part of the art/creative worker’s creation routine while speculatively place it in a conceptual art project framework. Aside from art exhibition, Getok Tular also has an affordable auction of exhibited artefacts. In this edition, Omnispace invited a number of artistic workers in Yogyakarta to join a series of discussion and experiment for 20 days. Omnispace wishes to produce many ideas together with them, relating to the new understanding, perspective and projections towards the existence and sustainability of art workers in Yogyakarta art world.

About Omnispace
Held on April 16, 2015, Omnispace is a space and collective that embodies the art activities and an alternative to support the youth scenes in Bandung. “Omni” is short for Omuniuum, a store music releases, merchandise bands / musicians and book where Omnispace is sheltering. “Omni” also refers to a Latin prefix that means “all” or “every”. Omnispace strives to be an initiated space open to all creative people without media restrictions and practice of work.
