This comic is comical visualisation of Popok Tri Wahyudi creative journey in preparing his solo exhibition “Crossing the Border” at Kedai Kebun Forum (KKF) on April 2005.
As a visual artist, Popok is more comfortable in the NGO’s activists’ circles. Yayasan GAIA, which is established based on the spirit of giving contribution to constrict all kinds of gap which happened in the society, is one of NGO where Popok for several times involving as a volunteer to translate the program into visual.
Crossing the Border in comic reveals somewhat of his rage toward his social function as an artist.
